British navy vessel arrives in Doha to take part in joint exercise

The British Navy vessel HMS Middleton arrived in Doha to participate in a joint exercise between Qatari Emiri Navy and the British Royal Navy in the Qatari territorial waters, the Directorate of Moral Guidance at the Ministry of Defence announced.

According to the directorate, this exercise comes on the basis of prior agreements between the two sides within the framework of bilateral defence co-operation to support efforts to combat terrorism and smuggling as well as to maintain security and stability in the region.
