Canadian Army M777 artillery guns being sent to Latvia

A M777 Battery from the Canadian Army will be sent overseas in support of the Enhanced Forward Presence Battle Group in Latvia, the Royal Canadian Artillery Association News reports.

The artillery will be used during bi-lateral training with U.S. units in September 2017, and Exercise SILVER ARROW, occurring in October 2017. 1 RCHA has been tasked to generate a 4 gun M777 Bty, the association news noted. The equipment will be shipped from Canada in late July, with soldiers deploying in late August or early September.
