Government gives green light to Latvian troops’ participation in Silver Arrow 17 military exercise

RIGA, Sept 26 (LETA) – The government today gave the green light to Latvian troops’ participation in Silver Arrow 17, a joint military exercise the National Armed Forces and foreign military units scheduled to hold in Latvia in October.

The drills will take place in Latvia from October 16 to 29.

Joining the infantry and air exercise will be troops from Poland, Spain, Canada, Italy, Albania, Germany, the U.S. and Latvia.

Over 500 foreign military personnel are expected to participate in the exercises.
